Inventory Planner We are looking for a professional to join our Inventory Team. Our Inventory Planners have the ability to optimize the deployment of time-varying and extensive inventory by utilizing their forecasting prowess to successfully meet inventory targets within our business objectives. This challenging role will see you accountable for Order Placing, Goods Received, Inventory Control and Planning a diverse portfolio of products and brands. You will be responsible for: Developing and managing forecast accuracy metrics/reports of assigned merchandise.
Maintaining target levels of inventory and decide amount to purchase for each target.
Reviewing sales, receipt flow, inventory and margin projections to maximize sales and minimize risks.
Revising production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions.
Working in conjunction with Inventory Manager to resolve any discrepancies regarding stock.
Communicating with appropriate parties both internally and externally to coordinate production and shipping activities, and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays.
Initiate cost savings initiatives and methods to improve profitability Interacting and building relationships with our international & domestic suppliers.
Communicating with suppliers to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule to ensure demand requirements are understood and met.
Placing purchase orders with our suppliers.
Working with suppliers to ensure proper and timely delivery via the most cost effective shipping method.
You must have the following knowledge, skills and abilities: A working knowledge of purchase ordering, planning, merchandising systems and spreadsheets.
Planning and buying supply strategies throughout the product life cycle that support financial, operational and customer satisfaction business objectives.
Examine documents, materials, products and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness and accuracy to minimize potential out of stock risk to sales based on published metrics and standards and specifications.

Jr Web Programmer The Wine Enthusiast, Inc is looking for an experienced, capable, and highly motivated individual to fill a full-time position as a Jr Web Programmer. This position will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of medium-large web sites/web applications using Microsoft technologies. Qualified applicants should have a minimum of 2 years experience in the development of business-centric web sites.
Applicants should be familiar with all phases of web project development from conceptualization & design to building, testing & deploying a web site. Must be an aggressive, self-starter who has the ability to work independently, but can collaborate with multiple team members as needed.
Should be open to the knowledge and input of the entire Online Services team. NOTE: This position will require the use of Microsoft Technologies for ALL web site development. Qualifications: 2+ years full-time experience with web site development and programming with ASP and Jscript.
2+ years full-time experience with web site programming languages (HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, etc.) Must have experience with cross-browser & cross-platform compatibility.
