Our History
The founders of Mojosounds.com started in the music and video business in 1987
with the idea that their stores would have the most amazing selection of new &
used CDs & videos anywhere - at the best prices possible. We wanted to create
stores where the customers would be treated nicely by well-informed employees,
and that those employees would be treated well by their managers. Focusing on
these simple notions, our retail chain grew to 18 stores, with 2 million CDs and
videos in stock, with tens of thousands of satisfied customers and hundreds of
fulfilled employees.
Now in 2003, with all of the changes in the music and video world, the people of
Mojosounds.com cast their memories back to our humble beginnings, and those
simple ideas seem just as relevant today. Each day we will seek to expand our
offerings of new and used music & movies, and make the mojosounds.com shopping
experience more satisfying & memorable. We are proud to welcome you to
