Actions Overview "It's About Time" to learn the Switch to Mac is the first and
only completely interactive learning tool that guides you through a typical day
in Windows; then, teaches you the equivalent on your Mac.

switch, any PC user will find this software absolutely invaluable - even more so
for businesses.
I guess like many businesses, we have ended up with both PCs and Macs in our
office.
Some of our team swear by their Macs and the rest of us stick to the PCs because
that's what we know.
Making the switch can seem like a major pain because if you are like us, you get
on the computer to work and get the job done - most of us really don't have time
to sit down and fumble our way through trying to figure out a completely
different operating system.
The question we ask ourselves is ?why bother? The PC is working for me.? And
this is where this software really shines.
Presented in a simple, incredibly interactive and easily to follow format, the
coolest thing about this package is that everything is shown visually with a
mini PC screen on one half of your screen and mini Mac screen on the other -
instructor ?Saied? takes you through everyday PC tasks and then shows you a
direct comparison (and on the same screen) tutorial on how to perform the same
task on a Mac and how much easier & better & faster it can be ? the ?why? to
make the switch, not just the ?how?.
The thing I liked most about this software is that it doesn?t assume you know
anything about Macs.
It takes you through each task very clearly and with brilliant visual aids.
It is easy to follow and has been an invaluable tool in helping our PC users
understand and be able to competently navigate their way around our Macs.
Now we've just got to order more of them.

Oustanding! Why doesn't Apple use this!Written by BB May 30, 2007 One of the
best learning tools I've ever used! The simple concept of watch first then do,
is amazingly intuitive.
After just a few…Read more examples I started to really understand the Mac, and
how my Pc was archaic in comparison.
Simple easy steps that really allow you to quickly grasp what you do by second
nature on the PC, but how much more elegant wfficiwnt and intuitive it is to do
on the Mac.
Graphics and overall quality are awesome.

I started working on a Mac years ago at an advertising agency and when I changed
jobs I was thrust into using a PC...
no one called me a "switcher' or helped me get going on those machines...
it was WORK.
There are actually things in this "tutorial" which are demonstrated on the PC
first and then the Mac - which I didn't know how to do properly on the PC side
even after years of use.
The screen is divided so that an example is done on a PC and then it is
demonstrated on the Mac side and the viewer has the opportunity to do the
exercise in real time on the screen or watch the process again so that real
learning takes place.
I checked this program out to give to friends and it's perfect.
I often say that just because you are moving to a Mac - it's a little like
driving in the UK - the rules are different, but you don't ignore everything you
know about driving just to change sides of the road.
Actually, my friend from the UK just bought a Mac and discovered that it's
really easy to drive on the Mac side...
and wondered why he didn't switch earlier.
With .Mac (and some help from me) he had a web site up and running the second
day he owned a Mac.
This program will still assist him in knowing how to do the basics on his new
machine.
We can't wait for "It's about time" to get to the iLife applications, too.
