series,
which will air in 30 minute segments, is a combination of live action and

every-boy
who loves to learn about and play with airplanes. The world premiere of the
series will
take place on July 23, 2007 at AirVenture Oshkosh, in the Skyscape Theatre.

adventures and have an accompanying multimedia experience while they read.
Andy's Adventures
Together with his best friend Yeager, a loyal and energetic (though occasionall
y discombobulated) Black footed ferret, Andy undertakes a series of exciting,
adventures in which he pilots an endless variety of airplanes to some of the
world's
most exotic and intriguing destinations. At each stop, Andy and Yeager meet
interest-
ing and helpful local residents who guide their adventure along while educating
them
about local cultures, attractions, and imagination-sparking aviation and
scientific topics.

World Premiere
In the July 23 series debut, Andy and Yeager fly with the legendary Blue Angels
and
tour the Navy's newest Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan.
Episode two takes viewers on an exciting trip to Hawaii-the land of
volcanoes-with
Andy piloting a Grumman Albatross seaplane. Episode three finds Andy crossing
the
Atlantic Ocean to learn about Charles Lindberg's historic transatlantic flight
from
New York to Paris, which changed the world of aviation and created a new era of
trust
in air travel.
The Origins of Andy
Andy's Airplaneswas conceived and created by aviation flight instructor and
television
producer Jon Pierre Francia, whose passion for aviation and for seeing the spark
of
learning in children's eyes led to the creation of Andy (and Yeager). Prior to
creating
Andy's Airplanes, Mr. Francia was the producer of another popular series
Signingtime,
which has become a PBS series. Mr. Francia was responsible for executive
producing,
writing, editing, directing and marketing the first three episodes of
Signingtime and
became dedicated to the world of educating children and making a difference in
the
lives of families in nearly every corner of the world. I would get calls almost
every
day from parents thanking me for what I had created and for what it had done for
their children, explained Francia. When I contemplated doing another series, I
knew
I had to do something where I could continue making a real difference. And so,
Andy's Airplaneswas born.
Andy's Airplanesis a mixture of Mr. Francia's passion for aviation and love of
educating and entertaining children. Added Francia, the fun thing for me is the
opportunity we have in this series to explore the world in a fascinating new way
for
both children and parents. And, we get to do it in a way that is real and
tangible;
we get to use the greatest vehicle for adventure and travel there is besides our
imaginations-the airplane.
Positive Appeal for Parents and their Children
Andy's Airplanesis designed to appeal to parents as well as children. Unlike
many of
today's children's animation features, with attitude-filled characters and

toward parenthood and other social institutions, Andy's Airplanes maintains a
wholesome, positive and uplifting approach to life. Andy himself is portrayed as
a considerate, kind and respectful child-albeit one with an extraordinarily
precocious
imagination. Language and references are uniformly clean and befitting of what
should
be the relative innocence of 3- to 8-year-old children. At the same time, the
show's
characters are developed as real individuals who must confront certain
challenges and
decisions in life-but again in a simple, uncomplicated manner that children of
that age
group can understand
In addition to providing young viewers with a friendly, yet educational look at
the world
around them, another goal of Andy's Airplanes is to team up with the aviation
commu-
nity to create excitement and a sense of security about today's world of
aviation with
a whole new generation of potential pilots. Concluded Francia, through Andy, we
hope
to inspire millions of children around the world to reach out to one another and
under-
stand who their global neighbors are in a fun and adventure filled way and, of
course,
to imbue them with a passion for flying.
